Radiodetection’s Tx-10B is a ten-watt multi-function signal transmitter designed to complement the advanced cable and pipe locators like the RD7200, RD8200, RD8200G, and RD8100 Marker Locators. It is a versatile transmitter that can be customized to match your chosen locator using the “model” feature.

iLOC Remote Control

With iLOC, you can control the locate signal’s power and frequency from up to 1400’ / 450m away using a Bluetooth link between the RD8100 locator and transmitter. This feature saves time walking and improves efficiency on the site.

90V Maximum Output

The high voltage output of the Tx-10B allows you to locate even high impedance lines like telephone pairs, ensuring that you can get locatable signals on any line.

Fault Finder

The Tx-10B transmitter features a fault-finding capability that applies a fault-find signal and detects insulation faults using an accessory A-frame to pinpoint faults.

Side-Step-Auto

This feature recommends a general-purpose locate frequency for the intended locate task by measuring the impedance of the target cable or pipe. It improves locate accuracy and extends battery life.

Automatic Impedance Matching

This feature matches the transmitter impedance to that of the target cable automatically, transmitting the locate signal as far as possible.

The Tx-10B transmitter is built to last with a shock-resistant and ingress-protected casing that protects against knocks, drops, water, and dust.

ECO Mode

The ECO mode enables alkaline battery life extension by gradually reducing the power output and providing audio and visual warnings when the transmitter detects a low battery condition.

Multi-Meter Function

This function allows you to measure output voltage, line voltage, current, impedance, and power and characterize faults on the target line before starting a survey.

Bluetooth Function

The Bluetooth feature enables you to change transmitter frequencies from a distance, saving you time walking back and forth.

Current Direction

Using a 4 kHz frequency, this feature enables you to use CD to identify a target line on higher impedance cables like telephone cables, electric and CATV.
