Global CADD Systems a division of Cansel now Authorized for Autodesk’s Architectural Solutions

Vancouver, B.C., February 1st, 2010 – Global CADD Systems (GCS) a division of Cansel is pleased to announce that it has been authorized to market Autodesk’s full suite of architectural and MEP solutions to the A/E/C market in Canada.   The Autodesk software applications include; AutoCAD Architecture.

Autodesk 3ds Max Design, Autodesk Buzzsaw, Autodesk Ecotect Analysis, Autodesk Navisworks, and Autodesk Revit Architecture, the industries leading BIM solutions.

BIM (Building Information Modeling) is an integrated process that uses intelligent, digital design information so users can explore a project’s key physical and functional characteristics digitally—before it’s built. BIM’s benefits also include visualization and simulation of real-world performance, appearance, and cost. BIM helps users deliver projects faster, with reduced environmental impact.

Mr. Sasha Nikodijevic, Autodesk Business Development Manager, adds “BIM has shown tremendous adoption over the last few years and is gaining momentum rapidly in Canada. BIM benefits all stake holders. Owners, architects, construction companies and their customers are seeing as many gains as they did in the transition period from the drafting table to CAD. We are very excited by this addition to our portfolio. Cansel is in a unique position in Canada to offer customers the total solution, hardware, software and services. Designing in Revit and sending the data out to Trimble construction equipment will allow our customers to reap the benefits of BIM through all project phases.”
