Cansel enhances its wide format business with the acquisition of Capital Cad Supplies.

Vancouver, BC, Thursday February 16, 2012 — Cansel, a provider of software, hardware and services to the engineering, surveying, construction, mining, architecture, utilities, forestry, and government industries, announced today that it has acquired Capital Cad Supplies Ltd, an imaging and wide product reseller located in the Maritimes.

 

 

 

Headquartered in Fredericton, New Brunswick, Capital Cad Supplies highly trained personnel have been providing services to customers for over 18 years. The company provides a similar range of hardware and software as Cansel, including engineering, survey, construction and reprographic equipment. It has a broad range of long-term clients operating in the commercial/industrial, transportation/infrastructure and forestry sectors.

 

Capital Cad Supplies aligns perfectly with Cansel’s field to finish services’, said Mr. John Currie, VP Ontario and Atlantic Canada. “The acquisition reinforces our focused growth in general line construction, survey, mapping, Autodesk® products and services in the Maritimes and will offer both our teams’ nationwide presence and extensive local inventory and support.”
