Cansel Acquires Wade Atlantic

Vancouver, BC, September 1st, 2010— I am very pleased to announce that effective September 1, 2010, Cansel has acquired Wade Atlantic, with 5 offices located in Atlantic Canada.

 

Wade Atlantic has a long and rich history in Atlantic Canada as the employees, branches and operations have been serving customers for over 50 years. I would like to warmly welcome all of the Wade Atlantic Employees.

 

Wade Atlantic will continue to operate as a separate and distinct distribution company focused on the Atlantic Canada Marketplace. In the Survey Market, both Wade and Cansel will continue to compete and serve our customers while enjoying the benefits of stronger buying power, service and operational infrastructure.

 

Wade Atlantic is also a market leader in:

 

1.       Printing and Reproduction Services

 

2.       Engineering Supplies which includes a complete line of Plotters, Scanners, Supplies, Paper, etc.

 

This acquisition is a great fit strategically and presents an opportunity to grow these additional two business units nationally across all of our locations. This is exciting for Cansel as we have the opportunity to better serve our customer needs as we continue to focus on Improving Field to Finish Productivity.
