Utility Locate Training with the Radiodetection RD8100

Course description

This training will focus on creating a understanding of the principles behind Radiodetection tools used for utility locates. We will also look at accessories used in association with them.

Students will learn how to:

  • Navigate the receiver and transmitter interface
  • Locate frequency of choice
  • Disable unwanted features
  • Identify faulty lines
  • Improve locating through marker objects

Prerequisites:

Understanding of imperial or metric units.

Training Agenda:

This training includes two short breaks however this training will cover about 60% field exercises.
