Five Observations

This section of True North is comprised of five Cansel fun-facts. They don’t quite have enough meat on the bone to warrant an article but are nonetheless worthy of attention. Here are this quarter’s FIVE Observations.

Allen Instruments – the latest addition to the Cansel team in Southern California

From Cansel president, Martin Trudelle:

I am thrilled to announce the acquisition of the California offices of Allen Instruments. The acquisition will be effective December 1, 2021. Allen Instruments is a long time Trimble GeoSpatial dealer with offices in Escondido, Anaheim and Ventura. We are fortunate to add a team of 22 people to our existing CSDS operation in California. This allows us to combine the forces of two strong Trimble dealers.

Trimble Dimensions 2022

It’s baaaack!!! Next year, Trimble Dimensions returns to Las Vegas, November 7th-9th, live and in-person. And this time Trimble is taking things to a new level, from Dimensions to Dimensions+.

What does that mean? Beyond everything you've come to expect from our signature user conference, Dimensions+ offers new and exciting opportunities to connect, learn and get inspired. The exclusive Offsite Experience is happening at a new location, with up-close views of technology in action and a series of hands-on training sessions. Introducing the new Trimble DA2

The Trimble DA2 GNSS receiver is the next generation receiver for the Trimble® Catalyst™ GNSS positioning service.
