The NavVis MLX is a professional handheld mobile scanning system redefining agile reality capture for confined or complex spaces. Combining a 32-layer LiDAR sensor with industry-trusted SLAM and Visual Odometry (VO) technology, the MLX delivers high-quality point cloud data and panoramic imagery in a compact, intuitive handheld form factor — ideal for frequent scanning, tight environments, or rapid data acquisition.

Designed for comfort and ease of use, the MLX incorporates an ergonomic supporting harness and lightweight construction, allowing operators to walk and scan freely with real-time coverage feedback displayed on the built-in touchscreen. Four panoramic cameras capture high-resolution imagery, providing contextual visual data alongside precise 3D geometry.

The MLX seamlessly integrates into reality capture workflows and can be used in conjunction with NavVis VLX systems in the field and NavVis IVION in the office for processing, visualization, and collaboration. It also supports geo-registration with control points measured by total stations and GNSS rovers for alignment to local and global coordinates.
