Cansel/SolidCAD expands its presence in Atlantic Canada with the acquisition of Atlantic CAD Solutions Inc.

Vancouver, BC, May 2017 — Cansel, a software, hardware, and service provider to engineering, surveying, construction, architecture, government and printing industries, announced that it has acquired Atlantic CAD Solutions Inc. and that it will unite these operations with the existing Cansel/SolidCAD operations.

Located in Hanwell, New Brunswick and founded in 2005, Atlantic CAD Solutions Inc., an Autodesk Authorized Developer, Microsoft Small Business Partner and Lumion Reseller, has been a long-standing Autodesk software-based service provider, offering products and services to design, develop, implement and integrate Autodesk solutions for architectural, mechanical, electrical, civil, structural, landscaping, manufacturing and GIS companies across Canada.

In July of 2015, Cansel announced it had merged its Ontario Autodesk business unit into SolidCAD Solutions, an Autodesk Platinum Partner specializing in solutions for the building, civil, process and power, and manufacturing industries. Combining all Autodesk business into one dedicated, newly-branded organization is an exciting evolution for Cansel that brings together a large team of professionals with over 35 years of industry knowledge and experience to benefit customers across Canada.
