Using an internet connection and PCMx Manager software, eCert thoroughly tests the locator's internal circuitry, including the magnetometer foot , to confirm the unit remains within calibration and suitable for continued use. Following a successful test, operators can print or save an official Radiodetection Calibration Certificate valid for one year from the date of issue and traceable to original factory calibration equipment. eCert also provides access to software updates and helps maintain compliance with recommended annual calibration schedules. If a test fails, the unit should be returned to Radiodetection or an approved service centre for inspection and recalibration.
