The Radiodetection C.A.T4+ (Imperial) with StrikeAlert™ is a professional Cable Avoidance Tool (CAT) designed to help reduce the risk of accidental utility strikes during excavation and groundworks. By combining proven locating modes with automatic strike warning technology, the C.A.T4+ enhances on-site safety and operator confidence.

The C.A.T4+ features Power, Radio, and Active locating modes, allowing operators to detect live electrical cables as well as re-radiated signals from buried metallic utilities. When used with a compatible Radiodetection signal transmitter, Active mode enables more precise tracing of specific services. The Imperial version displays depth and measurements in feet and inches, making it ideal for crews working to imperial standards.

The integrated StrikeAlert™ system provides an additional layer of protection by automatically warning the operator of shallow buried utilities through audible and visual alerts, even when the cable is not directly targeted by the selected locating mode.
