Empowering the Future Leaders of Geomatics

At Cansel, we are committed to advancing geospatial technology and empowering professionals with the tools they need to excel. But beyond delivering groundbreaking solutions, we recognize the importance of investing in the future leaders of our industry.

Cansel Scholarship Awards for Business and Innovation

The Cansel Scholarship program is designed to empower the next generation of geomatics and geodesy professionals by bridging the gap between academic theory and industry application. Each year, Cansel awards two distinct monetary grants to students who demonstrate excellence in the field:

The Innovation Scholarship

Awarded to students who apply a fresh scientific lens to geomatics, using modern tools to challenge traditional methodologies and solve complex technical problems.

The Business (Entrepreneurship) Scholarship

Awarded to those who demonstrate “entrepreneurial prowess” by identifying industry gaps and proposing scalable, market-ready solutions or applications.

Beyond financial support, recipients gain lifetime access to the Can-Learn online platform and the opportunity to share their insights through featured interviews on Cansel’s professional networks.

A proud moment during the scholarship ceremony at Laval University.
