Radiodetection PCMx Locator

The Radiodetection PCMx Locator is a high-performance Pipeline Current Mapper (PCM) receiver designed for accurate pipeline current measurement and coating condition assessment. Used alongside compatible Radiodetection PCM transmitters, the PCMx enables operators to identify current loss, coating defects, and shorts on buried metallic pipelines as part of cathodic protection (CP) and integrity programs.

Engineered for precision and repeatability, the PCMx measures the magnitude and direction of pipeline current, allowing corrosion engineers and survey crews to pinpoint areas where protective current is escaping. This data provides critical insight into coating condition and helps prioritize maintenance and remediation activities before corrosion damage occurs.

Removal of the detachable foot leaves a fully-featured RD8100PDLG pipe and cable locator. Depth of cover and GPS positional data is also captured.
