Trimble Firmware Fixes and Enhancements

GNSS signal tracking and processing enhancements

GNSS Firmware, Version 6.60 | July 2026

This release introduces critical updates for Trimble® ProPoint® GNSS receiver firmware, focusing on signal tracking, processing enhancements, and positioning reliability.

Key updates and enhancements:

  • BeiDou PRN Constellation Updates

The BeiDou Navigation Satellite System (BDS) has undergone an in-orbit reconstruction. This includes reassigning PRN (Pseudo-Random Noise/Numbers) to newer BeiDou-3 satellites and retiring legacy BeiDou-2 satellites. Because Trimble high-precision receivers rely on specific PRN codes and satellite almanacs to lock onto signals, using outdated firmware may cause degraded accuracy and longer initializations.

This latest update will enable Trimble ProPoint receivers to address recent BeiDou PRN changes.

  • Galileo HAS Control

You can now manually enable or disable the Galileo High Accuracy Service (HAS) directly from the Correction Controls page, giving you better control over your correction sources.

  • Advanced Jamming Mitigation

The ProPoint positioning engine algorithm has been optimized to improve interference filtering and enhance jamming mitigation in high-risk areas.

  • Other Important Updates in Trimble’s July 2026 Release Notes.

Next Steps: To maintain optimal positioning accuracy and tracking efficiency, please update your systems.

Update your GNSS Firmware to the latest Version 6.60.
